“From the apartment its easy to walk to the metro, we explored Barcelona extensively and we enjoyed it very much”
The apartment is spacious and the beds are comfortable. There is a dishwasher, oven, microwave and a coffee machine.
Dust everywhere. The bathroom smells like the sewer. There are no curtains and no shutter in the bedroom, the couch is filthy and old, the kitchen is missing basic things like a spatula, garlic press, etc, the ironing board is missing its cover, the iron is black and leaves stains when you use it, the shutters in the living room are broken. It has the basics but needs improvements to bring the quality in line with the price.. After complaining, the customer service of Olala Homes offered a discount. Which was a nice gesture. However, I do not recommend to go here until the issues are fixed.
“OK but could be better”
Check in was easy. The accomodation was a bit far from the city centre (around half an hour) but it‘s easily reachable with the public transport. Lots of good local bars, minimarkets and restaurants around it so you have everything you need. There was free water, beer, tea and coffee available.
The place itself is nicely decorated but a renovation is due. The description says 2 bathrooms but in reality there was only one and the other one was just a toilet. Both of the door locks were broken so no possibility to lock the toilet/bathroom. There also weren‘t four bedrooms, the last single bed is a built-in bed in the living room. The sofa in the living room, while very comfy, had lots of stains on it. Also, one of the bunk beds was making a lot of noise when you lie on it, giving you an uneasy feeling that it‘s not too stable (but nothing happened).
“Great stay and superb place”
The place was very clean and bright, totally furbished with an oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Very recommendable
There was a short flight of stairs before you reach the elevator, so not ideal for people with limited mobility

The bill ringing alot One day there was no waters.
“A decent budget option when visiting Barcelona with your family, but it's far from perfect.”
As I stepped into the apartment, the first thing that caught my attention was its beautiful interior. The space was tastefully decorated with modern furnishings and warm hues that made it feel cozy and inviting. One of the bedrooms had a lovely desk inside, which was perfect for working or studying. The large windows in the living room allowed plenty of natural light to stream in, making the space feel bright and airy. The dining table was spacious and perfect for hosting dinner parties or working on a group project. As I walked around, I couldn't help but notice the solarium, which was a serene and tranquil space. The shower was also quite decent, with good water pressure and ample space to move around comfortably. Overall, I was quite impressed with the apartment and all that it had to offer.
There were strange windows in one of the bedrooms and inside the shower that led to a dark, eerie, dark void in the middle of the building. One of the windows in the bedroom that led to this dark void was broken, so we notified the host who promptly sent a repairman in the morning. He taped up the broken window as it couldn't be replaced immediately. Also some of the shutters in the bedrooms weren't working when we arrived, but the repairman also fixed this. The elevator was very tiny, and required several trips just to bring the luggage up. The smell of sewage from the plumbing was sometimes overwhelming, but it was a problem in the neighborhood that affected this apartment as well. I found the location to be in a crummy neighborhood, and I had a brutal time trying to find parking. Luckily, public transport is steps away from the entrance of the building. I found the app the host requires you to download and use to be clunky and unnecessary. Getting help from the host required an annoying process of downloading the app, then starting a Whatsapp chat with a bot, then waiting for a human to get back to you. I love technology, but this was unnecessary.
