“Great location and friendly staff but the apartment itself doesn't cut it”

The location is great and staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment had a surprise roof terrace, which was nice.

To be improved

Unfortunately the apartment itself was not great. the apartment is on the top floor with only a window overlooking the hallway (so for privacy you will want to keep the curtains closed) and some very small roof lights so it feels like you're in a bunker. The apartment is split over 2 level, an entrance with a sofa bed and TV and then the rest of the apartment separated by 5 steps stairs, which makes the layout not very easy to use. The bedroom is has no meaningful windows and has only a bed sitting in the middle of the room which very awkward. It turned out that the sofa bed did not have a mattress in it (nor were there any sheets or pillows) so that was not usable

“Great location, images don’t depict what you get, furniture needs a deep clean!”

The location is perfect, for everything a typical tourist in Malaga would want to do. It felt safe and there were lots of options to eat and drink on the doorstep. Extremely helpful hosts recommending places to eat and housekeeping (who helped us with the washing machine as the child lock was on and it would not work/ no instructions) Taxi booking via booking.com back to airport was not as advised ie poor communication and over priced (the driver was lovely)

To be improved

The accommodation was very tired apart from the bathroom. The images make it look ultra modern and appealing. In fact all the upholstery needs a deep clean (including the headboard) as it’s stained, scruffy, dirty and tired. Outdoor table and chairs had no seat covers and were not comfortable without. The parasol has been shoved right in the corner not giving shade to the table/ sun beds and cannot be moved as the base is concrete and in many broken pieces. The kitchen is ok but no wine glasses-in Spain?! The safe was broken and i noticed this was reported the month before so no one has bothered to fix it. The lift was also out of order for our stay, not ideal with suitcases and 6 flights of stairs, although on arrival we were given help.

“Stylish aprrartment near town”

Great apartment 15 mins walk from the main centre and 15 mins walk from the station, in a beautiful old building with lots of original features even though the apartment was very modern. Everything you would need inside
