“Cozy apartment, great location”

The best

Cozy place located right by a church and small plaza. Loved looking out the window while sitting on the couch to see the sunlight on the church. Well equipped kitchen with some basics provided ie coffee, tea, oil. Comfortable beds. Neat, tidy and clean. Walking distance to most attractions and grocery store. Bus to alhumbra right at the doorstep. We would stay here again as all the benefits outweighed the drawbacks.

To be improved

1. Some difficulty with check in. The outdoor buzzer panel for the unit states "this is not the tourist apartment". Then, a lady came out of the apartment and told us that this was not the correct place and sent us two blocks away. We were in contact with the owner and found out that it was the correct place. You need to look on the opposite wall above the flyer box to find the lock box. it is a little high to reach for a shorter person. You enter the code provided to attain the key to get inside the building. 2. There is a lounge/bar below the apartment. On Friday and Saturday night, it is lively. The noise did not bother us too much. 3 it is a plus that the alhumbra bus is literally at the doorstep to the apartment. Buses are frequent throughout the whole day so there is some noise from that as well

Great, characterful flat in a great location so easy to walk everywhere. The owners left enough staples, tea, coffee and milk. Very thoughtful

“It was okey for one night, decent”

The location was excellent, easy to enter the apartment with the provided keys at the entrance.

To be improved

The towels as well as the sheets had an unpleasant mouldy smell that at first we didn’t notice, but as soon as we wet the towels by drying our hands we could smell it and it lingered on our skin. Not dirty, but needs to be washed at a higher temperature and let to dry completely, otherwise the smell will remain on the fabric.

“Superb”

The best

Location is great, Alhambra is like a 1 km far away, few town squares near by, there is parking near by (less than 20 euros per day) and it is very much needed for those with a car because in that neighborhood is almost impossible to find a parking spot, apartment is spacious and has everything you need, plenty of utensils and appliances, also lots of spices. Also there was everything you need in a bathroom, towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body shower gel...

To be improved

Air conditioner was not able to cool down the apartment (we were on the start of August on very hot days), probably due to low of Freon more than an inability of the air conditioner to cool down the space. Needs to be checked out and fixed.
