“A lovely boutique hotel.”

The hotel was very nice, especially for a two star rating, boutique like. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly both Alejandro and Cristine who spoke some English and helped us with recommendations. The room, albeit small, was very clean and comfortable with a small fridge which had cold drinks available. We had breakfast which was only €8, so great value.

To be improved

For me, the bed was a little too firm, but my friend had no complaints.

“2 night stay in San Jose”

The best

Great location close to walk to the beach and all the fabulous bars and restaurants. The breakfast was fabulous and we will definitely return.

To be improved

The towels were stained (I think clean but didn't look very nice), the receptionist immediately sent us better towels to the room and we were happy.

“Excellent mid-range option in lovely San José”

The best

Cosy hotel, with kind and attentive staff, metres away from the main street of San José. The buffet breakfast is of good quality and value at 8€ per person.

To be improved

The single beds are a bit short if like me you are tall, and (although I didn't) my friend found the mattresses to be too soft. More power points than 2 would be useful in this day and age

The location was great.. It was really clean. The bed was very comfortable . Good air con. parking was no problem.

To be improved

It wasn’t particularly welcoming, but ok. No particular interest in why you were there or what you may want to see. No coffee or tea making facilities in room which I ought to have checked, not the fault of the hostel.
