Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Good location close to the beach, praised in multiple reviews.
Amenities like the pool are appreciated, but there are some complaints.
Friendly staff who are willing to help, though service may vary.
Guests feel the value is decent considering location and service.
Food quality was generally good, but some variety issues were noted.
Mixed experiences, largely based on location and service, but marred by cleanliness issues.
“Authorities must find the way to handle burgers, as this ruin hotel reputation.”
Good location for families, nice food. Friendly staff, always willing to help and assist.
We were burgelled by thiefs in the room during the night. After googled found that all the hotels on Island had a problem with thiefs. This incident ruined our experience. We get a feeling we are not safe there.
“Fab- good value for money-no complaints”
Brilliant 10 day holiday at Taro Beach. Quiet, peaceful. Plentiful food and drinks. Daily housekeeping. Responsive reception. Great restaurant staff. Entertainment team fantastic and engaging. Pool great, beach and beach bar great. Only slight annoyance was queuing at the bar in the evening and not enough sun beds - however staff were great at shifting off towels of people who had selfishly saved beds when they aren’t allowed too. All in all a fab holiday would happily come back! Thank you SBH Taro Beach
“Not good”
The hotel is very nice and well looked after, however my bracelette that costs over £300 got stolen by one off the maids as it was there in the morning i left the room for 20 mins to go to the super market facing i saw the maid walk out of my room when i came back we leave the balcony locked at all times, furthermore me and my mum went to reception and told them about this situation they told us to go to the police station if they cant find the bracelette, they said they asked and couldnt find it so they sent us to the police station however they didnt tell us the police station was only open half a day and they reccomended us to go at night where it just wasnt open and left us stranded there as we couldnt walk back as my mum had hurt her foot as we told them they didnt tell us the police didnt speak english. We then asked to speak to manager, we did and the reception had just completely lied to him saying we only asked for a taxi when we specifically told them we was going to the police station, however the pool is nice and the food is very nice but the food is almost the same every day, overall aswell the bar staff are very friendly and nice.
“SBH Taro beach.”
Currently at this hotel, day 5 already had item missing from my room. Not enough sunbeds or outside seating. Long queues for drink at night especially, not really a place for British. Beaches are are lovely but the beach beds are rental not the hotels. Located on a slope could be challenging for some people.
“Very good value for money. I can definitely recommend SBH Taro Beach.”
We stayed at SBH Taro Beach, and overall, the experience was positive. Here’s a breakdown: Location: Perfectly located right on the beachfront. Lots of souvenir shops nearby. Just 100m from the hotel, there’s an “African market” held several times a week — a good place to find unique gifts, sometimes cheaper than in stores. Room: We were first given a very run-down room with an unacceptable view. After explaining the situation at the front desk, we were promptly moved to a much better room. I’m sharing only the photos of the new room — the issue was resolved quickly. Service: The staff is friendly and polite. The main issue was inconsistent housekeeping: sometimes everything was spotless (even without tips), other times the room was poorly cleaned (despite tipping). It seems to depend on the individual cleaner. However, addressing it at reception always helped. The management team is responsive, and the hotel manager regularly checks in with guests — a definite plus. Food & Drinks: Great variety for a 4-star hotel: meat, fish, cold cuts, fruits, ice cream. Sparkling wine is served at breakfast every other day. Wine, sangria, Pepsi, Schweppes, and water available during meals. Full self-service setup — waitstaff only clear tables. On some days, they were fast and efficient; on others, not so much. Entertainment: The animation team is excellent — very energetic and positive from morning till night. They’re great with both adults and kids. Special thanks to Paolo and Suzy! Extras: Food and drinks can be taken outside the restaurant, which is very convenient. Used dish baskets are placed throughout the hotel grounds. There’s also a tide schedule at the front desk — helpful for surfers and beach walks. Wi-Fi is mediocre, but that might be a plus — after all, you're in Fuerteventura, not online. Conclusion: Very good value for money. I can definitely recommend SBH Taro Beach.
“Lovely position mid size beach hotel with clean facilities, good food and hard working staff”
I was a bit worried about some of the reviews but we had a great stay at Taro Beach, the rooms were big cool and clean, the food had great variety and was fresh, definitely good value for money and suited our party age 12-82 which is a big ask. The staff were always friendly and helpful but at times it seemed there was not enough so I will put that as a negative comment only to get them some support, Bruno in the Restaurant was a stand out leader of his workforce and always willing to help, 10/10 for Bruno!
More staff needed at times, the load seemed unfair on the Restaurant and Bar staff especially as the Hotel appeared to be full, they definitely need more support and always worked very hard to help when asked. - its down as a negative but only to suggest more staff please
