I liked everything.

The neighbourhood was very noisy in the early hours.

Check in - waited over an hour after owner sent text as we landed saying he was unable to meet us but said we could find the key in a key box and should let ourselves in. Upon arrival, there was no key box or key, we messaged and called repeatedly with no response for 30 mins. We started to look for other accommodation before the owner finally replied by text. He then blamed the situation on us for not calling despite his message. We finally entered the apartment one hour later after waiting in the August heat for someone to arrive with the key. The key box did not exist and no explanation given for his text about this. Not great! Air con didn't make it through to the bedrooms so very hot in them; lounge area fine Noise (to be expected in this location so just bring ear plugs) Cleaning - floor dirty and pull out bed full of sand. Reported to owner who blamed it on the palm trees? Toddler underwear also found in children's bedroom Owner suggested we should book direct with him next year rather than through booking.com but wants us to pay the same price - No discount offered and no payment protection! Owner needs to take feedback constructively rather than apportion blame
