To be improved

Property looked tired and needed some upgrading for the price charged. Unhappy that if you shut a glass door leading to the roof terrace you could not get back inside. You were stuck with. no access.

The best

Great place. The roof terrace gets the sun all day. Lots of great restaurants in easy walking distance. We loved it. Elena is fab and always in hand if needed.

“Eclectic villa”

The best

The house is in a great location in Palm Mar, close to shops restaurants and the beach and very quiet. The outside areas are amazing. The house itself is a series of eclectic units. The bedroom upstairs is accessed via the roof terrace, the roof is like a yurt, gives a lovely atmosphere but is very hot. The upstairs bathroom is off another terrace. Shower, water pressure and WiFi are excellent. The host is easily accessible and very helpful for any questions. Any problems were resolved quickly, great communication.

To be improved

We loved it as it suited our needs with lots of outside space, but its not a standard layout and may not be for everyone. Palm mar itself is very quiet, again we like this but if you are looking for nightlife be prepared for a drive or taxi.

“Nice, clean villa in good location, but note no air conditioning”

The best

Location was great and property is secure. The upper outdoor terrace is excellent, well-furnished with fantastic views of the sea and superb sunsets. Also has a good patio heater for cooler evenings. Good, powerful showers; kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of glasses, cups, plates, cutlery etc. Wi-Fi seemed fast though we only used it upstairs. Communication from Elena was excellent.

To be improved

The property is incorrectly advertised as having air conditioning- it does NOT. There is a portable dehumidifier in the store cupboard and a small wall fan in the upper bedroom, but neither of these cool the air. Even in October all rooms were very hot and we had to leave doors open, including overnight, to keep cool. Bed in upper room was comfortable, bedding clean but old (bobbly sheet) and could do with replacing.
