“Excellent 2 night stay”
The best

Excellent stay for 2 nights. The Senator Cadiz is perfectly located to be able to walk straight out onto the beautiful historic narrow streets of the city. From the moment of arrival into the bright reception/lounge area with its atrium giving plenty of natural light, all staff that I came in contact with were professional, friendly, and welcoming. All spoke fluent English, a plus as my Spanish is almost non existent ! For a small additional charge I upgraded to one of the recently refurbished rooms, well worth it. My room was spacious and well appointed. Extremely comfortable bed. Large walk-in shower. As I drove to the hotel I used their car park, accessed via a car lift from a very narrow road. Parking is at a premium in Cadiz so having a car park was very beneficial. Upon departure my car had a problem starting and the hotel manager appointed 2 maintenance men to assist and help solve the problem, which they did. This was going above and beyond what is expected from a hotel stay, for which I was very grateful. The next time I am in Cadiz I will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

“Exceptional service. Lovely hotel.”
The best

A warm welcome in the heart of Cádiz We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Senator Cádiz, a lovely hotel perfectly positioned right in the centre of the city. It’s incredibly convenient – you can step out of the door and be within easy reach of everything Cádiz has to offer. The downstairs layout may feel a little unusual to non-Spanish travellers at first, but it quickly grows on you. There’s a large, welcoming lounge-style area with a relaxed atmosphere, along with a bar where breakfast is served and snacks are available throughout the day. Our room had recently been refurbished (only a few weeks prior) and it showed – it was light, fresh and airy, with a clean, modern feel. A few extra hanging hooks would be a useful addition, but these feel like minor finishing touches in what is clearly an ongoing upgrade programme. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the service. We cannot thank the general manager and his team enough for their exceptional help during our stay. When our friend’s car broke down in the garage, the team sprang into action – assisting with jump leads, bringing a car down, and spending nearly two hours helping us get it running again so it could make the journey back to Portugal. Despite the language barrier, everything was handled with warmth, patience and genuine care – Google Translate did the rest. We were hugely impressed and incredibly grateful. A fantastic stay, made unforgettable by outstanding service. Highly recommended.

Room 111 - the view was dreadful looking into a roofed service area which had lots of clothes that had fallen from above.

“Ok 3 star hotel with great location”
The best

Very simple hotel, clean and OK beds. Breakfast so so.. Location is great. So value for money is good, but it is not a 4-star hotel. Nice staff in the reception though.
