“Everything you need for a stopover on a motorcycle tour.”
The best

Great location with lovely big clean bedroom and secure underground parking for,y motorcycle. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is an easy journey from Santander using the backroads when arriving on the 1500 ferry from Plymouth .

Transparent bathroom door. Wash basin in main room. Bar never opened. Was told that it was run by the restaurant & nothing to do with the hotel. Totally ignorant staff who apparently knew nothing about anything. Ridiculous parking , fit your car in the lift, once parked, no room to manoeuvre. Notice tells you to reverse into the lift otherwise you can’t get out again. Only one car at a time can gain access or exit. Really long, slow & difficult procedure.

Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday early evening so the restaurant and bar was closed and no places to eat outside the Hotel until 9pm…. Very little choice 🤨

“Gentle kind staff, clean comfortable room · Cons: BEWARE!:: Car Parking provided is ludicrous! ONLY ACCESS IS TINY lift that carries car to underground, TINY Car park, with jutting wall & angular exit from lift!! I was assured as i drove in to the lift with my mirrors pulled back so I could fit in, that bigger cars than mine can fit !!!![my car a BMW 520]..Got parked with much effort but knew getting back on to that lift at the angle that needed navigating was going to be almost impossible... I have driven tractors with trailers, big loads in small area before & navigated tight spaces all my life & I truly am gobsmacked at this tiny, angular, space that you meet after coming out of a small car elevator!! I had to get to a ferry sailing in the a.m.... it was so stressful trying to get out!! Scraped side of my car! Made complaint verbally & written, with photos of damage & have had zero feedback from this hotel or management!!! I only chose this hotel because it offered parking... i had valuables, stock etc in car & could not leave it on these streets so I was caught when i got there at night after a 900km drive!! Put my car in with dextrous good driving but exiting the small space , navigating the walls & angles to try get back in to the elevator was extremely difficult!!! EU REGULATIONS SHOULD NOT ALLOW THIS!!! TRULY ITS LUDICROUS!!! BTW this is the 1st complaint i have ever left on this site after many many hears of use...”
