“Enjoy lunch on a rooftop with THE best view of La Sagrada Familia”
Only a 4 minute walk from Sagrada Familia, this rooftop terrace serves up fabulous views as well as drinks and food at very reasonable prices. Non residents of the hotel pay an entrance fee of €7 when booking. I was welcomed, given a choice of seating looking straight at the church and enjoyed a refreshing glass of sangria alongside a very generous portion of nachos. Had a lovely time!
“An absolute MUST do!”
I pre booked this (approx a week prior to visit) for my and my son as part of his 18th birthday trip. It was €7pp which is not refundable or taken off your bill. When I say, the experience exceeded expectation! We got the perfect seat, directly looking at the Sagrada Família. Staff were friendly, we had yummy cocktails and delicious nachos to share. We didn’t feel at all rushed and it genuinely was a highlight of our trip. I have and will recommend to everyone and if I’m ever in Barcelona again, I would and will return! Fabulous treat.
“Amazing night!”
Stunning views, amazing staff, great for allergens etc nachos and potato bravas was lovely. Deffo book in advance! All staff were so friendly and chatty great experience
“Best view of the Sagrada Familia - decent food and drinks”
As long as you know you are going here for the view , and not for the food or service you won’t be disappointed. The view is indeed magnificent, there are no bad seats on this rooftop. The service was not so great however - it was confusing which way you can order food - the QR code and website didn’t work well. The food and drinks were limited but a little better than anticipated
“Very rude receptionist at check in”
We had made one little mistake in when we made reservation with name spelling. And at check in, receptionist was VERY rude to treat this small matter. She made us feel very bad at reception telling us like she would almost not let us stay for that. Even though showing the reservation confirmation and last name match but the first name being shorten at reservation. We were so excited to stay there traveling all day from other side of the world. I wish she didn’t ruined our mood at arrival.
“Stay elsewhere! This hotel is cheap all around.”
In short, stay elsewhere! Lots of other options in the area. I rarely give negative reviews, but this one is warranted and will not surprise management. Stayed 4 nights. I should have requested an immediate change of room when I saw mold in the bathroom & tv and window did not work. Thanks to the unprofessional lady at the front who was too cheap to give us one of the many water bottles behind the front desk, I then requested another room. Management did apologize, but that female employee really left a bad taste during our stay. Also, heard others complain while we were in the elevator. Very unfortunate as this was our 4th hotel we stayed during our 2 weeks in Spain and was the only disappointing experience. Only positive is the location, but lots of other hotels to choose from. The teas/coffees were never replaced in the room and even when we were “upgraded “ to another room due to the toxic smell from repairing the mold, the bathtub was literally peeling. Note to management- don’t tell your guests you only provide water from 11:00-1:00 and don’t be cheap about providing small water bottle that cost less than a $1. Most importantly, train your employees not to speak negatively in front of guests. Most Americans can understand Spanish. I wish I had that female employee’s name, but the manager who was courteous enough to apologize and change our room, will know.
