“My partner & I enjoyed a great holiday”

My partner & I spent two wonderful weeks at Castle Harbour in Tenerife, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The apartment was fantastic—spacious and fully equipped, especially the kitchen, which made cooking a breeze. The comfortable living room was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the large balcony offered breathtaking views of Los Christianos, the sea and mountains. The bedroom was cozy and ideal for two people, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights was the location; it was only a 20-minute walk to Los Cristianos beach, allowing us to enjoy the stunning coastline with ease. Upon our arrival, the owner, Stan, was incredibly welcoming. He met us at reception and took the time to show us around the apartment, which made settling in feel effortless. Overall, Castle Harbour provided us with the perfect accommodation for our stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Tenerife!

“Great apartment”

Lovely apartment for 2x people. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom and functional kitchen with all you need for making breakfast/meals etc. Had a slight problem with the water draining away from the kitchen sink ,but was very quickly rectified 👍. Nice big balcony with late afternoon sun. And a pool that doesn't take your breath away when you get in . Nice pool bar with friendly staff and lovely snacks/meals.

To be improved

The location is slightly out of town and is a downhill walk there,but an uphill walk back! Or a taxi,there are loads of them,so not a major issue. And the dressing table lighting could be improved (said my wife).Also not a major issue.

“Good option if you need to stay in Los Cristianos”

Great balcony, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and good shower. Quiet location out of busy centre. Good location for the buses out of Los Cristianos.

To be improved

It was very hot when I was there and the ceiling fans and portable fan were only just enough to make it cool enough to sleep. Los Cristianos - only picked it due to ferry to La Gomera.

“Lovely property in Nice complex, however some points for improvement”

The apartment is modern and nicely decorated, with a good view from the balcony. The kitchen has everything needed to cook. The complex is nice, with a good on-site pool bar and restaurant. Bed are comfortable, curtains ensure sleeping areas are dark, and a good quality smart TV is provided.

Firstly, clearer check-in instructions would be a help. We called a number supplied by the property to check in, as no mention was made to the 24 hour on site reception. There was also no need for the €20 late check-in fee. There is a €2 per day or €10 per week fee for sun loungers by the pool, although this isn't an issue and ensures there are always free beds by the pool, this should be disclosed in the property information prior to booking. There is no air conditioning, making the property uncomfortable to sleep in during warmer weather. Information regarding possible portable air conditioning hire would be welcome, as would clearer information regarding facilities such as fans in the room prior to booking. While the pre-booking information stated a €300 euro damage deposit, the property messaged to say there would be a €500 euro deposit, while this was quickly altered to €300 when queried, I think this is something that needs to be altered as other reviews mention the same issue. This was quickly returned on leaving the property, although a €14 ish admin fee was taken by PayPal, this was blamed on us sending it in the wrong way, although we were never told that there could be a wrong way. Addressing some of these issues would have made aspects of our stay smoother and more comfortable, but they didn't prevent us from enjoying our stay.
