“Poorly maintained apartment, not indicative of the price”

The location was good and the washing machine also had a drying mode.

One of the showers was so heavily damaged by black mold that the people who came to check after we complained told us it had to be replaced as it was beyond repair. I don’t see how the rental company could not have noticed the state of the bathroom as this would have taken months to develop. Additionally, one of the two AC units did not work, and again, we were told that it was not something they were able to repair when we were there. They gave us a fan to cool down but in 30 degree weather it still made it hard to sleep in two of the bedrooms. The staff that was on call when we complained were friendly and fast, but since they were unable to handle the problems in the apartment when we were there then it didn’t make up for the state of things on arrival. It was also annoying as we had to spend a fair bit of time getting them to address these problems. They did however manage to fix the wifi which was not working on arrival. The toxic black mold was certainly not excusable. The shower itself was also generally cracked and partially rusted.
