“The house was dirty.”

The house itself and the island

To be improved

The house was very very dirty and needs to be thoroughly cleaned completely. Everything you moved showed hidden dust and dirt (behind the bed, under the terrace furniture, under the sofa, etc. etc.) The kitchen worktop and utensils were very sticky, cup boards smelt bad and were full of crumbs and/or dust. The first day we even did some cleaning ourselves. Also the pool was full of dirt. We really should have taken   similar cleaning comments of earlier guests more serious as it seems that nothing really changed. Further, the stairs and the bathrooms are very slippery. This all is a real pity because the house is really beautiful and Mallorca is a great island.
