Sirena Center apartment

We checked in on Thursday and checked out on Monday. There was a little cafe just downstairs. The apartment is right above the cafe. The location of the apartment is in a huge square- it's a perfect place for family and friends to hang out after work. But because of the proximity, the noise and the bright lights were just too much. I couldn't sleep a wink on Friday and Sat nights. The young people were just hanging out and chatting but they were also playing very loud music. The bright street lights also didn't help. The apartment windows were double glazed, but the noise still seeped thru. And it was incessant. So be forewarned if you are a light sleeper. Having said all this, my teenage son and husband slept right thru. There was a washing machine and a dryer in the apartment A small sachet supply of laundry detergent would have made a BIG difference. No point having a washing machine and dryer if we are expected to lug laundry detergents. We were given ONE key and once, my son forgot to take the key out causing us to be locked out. Suggestion- Pls leave 2 keys if there are more than 2 guests staying in the apartment. Like in a hotel, it's always 2 keys for 2 guests. And we were charged 50 Euros for someone to open the door for us. If you like the night buzz, then this apartment would suit you. There are lots of little cafes around the square. There are also little supermarkets, pharmacies nearby. And the Bus 13 comes by very often. Although we didn't try the local bus.
