SKOL 335. Fantastic Beachfront Apartment Facing South.

The furniture fell apart and this apartment needs a renovation. Fir Sun chairs had to paid seperatly.

This wasn't as advertised, very disappointing. I've stayed in several apartments in The Skol, been very happy with my accommodation.and always had a lovely experience. I accept the apartments are older, Some may require upgrading but 335b requures a complete overhaul/deep clean. It should not be let out in its current state. Furniture in living area is grubby, i wouldn't sit in couch area, filthy suite of furniture camouflaged with throws. The shower in bathroom is smaller than phone box. I'm not a large person and I struggled to shower. The shower door was also hanging off.. There was only 1 large and one small towel left for the week per person. Washing machine in bathroom area but could not operate it. Finally, and the reason I'm taking time out to write this review was my bed. I was absolutely horrified...there was stain on the undersheet. I know the sheet had been washed but there was still an obvious brown stain on it. When I decided to remove sheet I discovered there was no mattress protector sheet and to my horror the mattress was completely soiled. It was disgusting. The pictures below don't truly reflect the reality of how bad it was. We decided againt checking the mattress in 2nd room for fear they were same...too traumatised! I don't normally write reviews unless they are good experiences but I feel after paying so much money to be presented with accommodation in this state that I needed to publicise this so others can avoid the sheer horror and dissatisfaction that we experienced.

Apartment needs bit of modernisation

The apartment was a little outdated I'd say which isn't a huge deal, the toilet however needed to be fixed after every flush and there was no soap in the bathroom or kitchen. I found the pillows and mattress quite hard, but that's probably personal taste, and there was construction going on next door at the time - but that's not really the owner's fault, nothing can be done about such things.
