Lovely apartment, perfect size, beautifully decorated and nice big balcony. 5 minute walk down to the marina, 10 minute to the beach

To be improved

Getting into the property was the only downside of our break. What isn’t clear when you book is that there is an additional €100 cleaning fee. We received messages before we travelled to ensure we had the cash on arrival. However upon landing we received messages that we wouldn’t receive the code for the keys until we had completed a bank transfer for the money and sent copies of our passports. Without data roaming this proofed difficult and stressful.

This apartment is part of a larger development, overlooking the marina and the ocean. The views are truly amazing - like you see in the photos! The apartment itself is modern and spacious, and we enjoyed the pools very much. Within short walking distance you have a 'hidden' sandy beach near the marina, and a few small shops and two restaurants. Since the development is almost at the end of the bay, there is no traffic noise at all. We highly recommend this place for the views alone - sitting on the balcony and watching the sunrise is magnificent. 10/10

A few minutes after booking this apartment, I received a message from the agent that an additional 'cleaning fee' of 100 Euro is required before entering the apartment. Strange enough, this isn't mentioned anywhere on booking.com. After a few messages it was 'reduced' to 80 Euro. When we arrived a few days later, the agent told us on the phone that we pay on the spot 100/80 Euro, otherwise we wouldn't get the keys. After more phone calls I insisted that we get the keys straight away (after all, we had paid already through booking.com) and that I would pay any additional amount once I receive an invoice. Finally we got the keys, and no invoice was ever shared with us. The agent's behavior was unprofessional and it appears this is not the first time that they proceed like this.

“Lovely stay”

The view was amazing. The apartment was clean and, on the whole, well stocked. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms spacious. Very quiet, good soundproofing. The pools were lovely

To be improved

One set of keys only didn't work with so many locks to get through. No English TV. Only 3 mugs, one was badly chipped. Car would have been a bonus, as only 1 of the 5 restaurants in the Marina was open

No information pack for the apartment. No cleaning materials supplied. All good otherwise. Told initially an agent would meet us and to have €100 cash for cleaning fee. On route to the apartment that changed. No agent only a lock box and had to try organise payment online while still travelling otherwise no code supplied. Very stressful.
