The location was excellent. Good access and communication with owner. Comfortable beds

To be improved

The parking was a problem as street parking and very busy. Would have been helpful to.have a kettle. There was a coffee machine but no coffee. The lounge was over furnished.

“Friendly town with interesting history”
The best

The apartment is about a 20-minute walk to the historic center — all of it uphill! It's a great cardio workout, yet even the old people in town have no problem with it. Very convenient to the train station, maybe a 5 minute walk. There are outdoor restaurants nearby, a tempting pastry shop, a grocery store, even a pharmacy. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.

To be improved

Frustrating experience on arrival. The address was confusing and there is no sign on the door. Various shopkeepers gave us various incorrect directions; this shouldn't be their job. Once we found the place there was no way to get in the building; a neighbour let us in when she saw us on the sidewalk. But we still had no way to get into the apartment. As foreigners we don't have watsapp or wifi so we couldn't call for help. The nice neighbours used their own phone to call the owner (again, this shouldn't be their job) and eventually someone came to open the door and give us a key. But it felt like luck, not good planning, that we got in. The main bedroom is large and luxurious, with nice furnishings, an oversize bed, and a window looking out over the countryside below. The second bedroom has two rather stiff single beds and a window that faces into the dingy lightwell where neighbours hang their laundry.
