The location of these apartments is perfect for seeing Madrid. However don't be fooled by the photos, its very tired and needs a lot of updating. When we arrived we were told our room was not ready and the fact that it said we could check in at three on our booking didn't mean it had to be ready for three, their view was that it meant its the earliest you can check in. They did resolve it and gave us another room but its was subpar, and I had to argue that the check in time should be as advertised. We had broken tiles on the bathroom floor, which were dangerous, a shower that just about worked. The bed was a small double and pushed up against the wall, not practical for a couple. The walls were super thin and we heard everything next door, I mean everything! Cleaning is not included in the price and the breakfast is served in another hotel ten minutes up the road. The breakfast was excellent though! Luckily we were only there three nights any longer would have been an issue for us, but as we were out and about in Madrid we just treated it as a base.

“Good Location, But Room Issues and Poor Service”

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby, and great metro connectivity. The rooms are well-equipped with a heating plate, cutlery, refrigerator, and hot water. However, we faced issues with the AC, wifi, microwave, TV not working, despite changing rooms twice. The front desk seemed ineffective, lacking empowerment to resolve issues, and the management team (Almudena and Jorge) appeared unresponsive. On the plus side, breakfast is good, although it's served in a separate building about 100 meters away. The lifts are old-fashioned and local-style. Despite the issues, I would consider staying here again if the AC problem, wifi problem or microwave problem is addressed. With some improvements in service and maintenance, this hotel could be a great option.
