SNÖ Hotel Candanchú

Was told on booking in that i could not get into the restaurant for dinner as it was full even though I was travelling alone. The cafeteria was closed and there was no food available for me at all I was directed to a pizza bar which was very good I was told that I was booked in for breakfast but when I arrived my name was not on the list So no dinner and no breakfast Very disappointed

We requested 2 twin rooms but only received one. When we mentioned it to the chap on reception, he didn't seem bothered. The bathroom in one of the rooms was disgusting, peeling paint, moldy tiles and both showers had very poor water pressure and shower heads, so not a great shower. Breakfast...where do we start!! All the meats, cheeses and pastries were covered in flies. None of the fresh food had any form of covering over it. The coffee and juice machine didn't work and produced undrinkable fluids!! The whole set up felt like a health hazard. The hotel rooms were unbelievably hot and the only option was to open the window, unfortunately the mosquitoes flew in as there were no window screens. So options were to boil or be eaten alive?? The entire place looked like 20 years past a good over haul. I wouldn't board my dog there! ☹️

I wasn't told when booking that if I didn't pre-order dinner I would need to find somewhere else to eat. I asked for an early breakfast but this couldn't be arranged.

I booked a superior room and was not given one despite complaining to the management. They could have moved me but chose not to. The bathroom had mould between tiles and the window had crumbling plaster.
