The apartment was tiny. No towels were changed in 4 days. No window. Would never stay in again.

I have had more than 100 hotel reservations through Booking so far. Except for one, I did not give any of the others less than 8 and I was satisfied. This reservation in Madrid was a complete disappointment. Because I paid approximately 500 Euros for 5 days. I could not find any service and comfort worth this price. Because: 1. The entrance codes to the facility are not given without a 250 Euro deposit. This is not clearly stated before. 2. There are 38 photos of the facility on Booking. You do not know which one is given to you. 3. The 4 rooms in the apartment are rented separately. 4. The area of ​​the room given to us is 12 m2 when the bed is closed. 5. When the bed is opened in the room, it takes up 3 m2 and you have to keep it open because there is no other place to sit. There are two 30 cm diameter stools. 6. Inside the room there is a toilet and bathroom separated by glass panels, the area of ​​which is 2 m2. Also, apart from the kitchen counter and table area, you have at most 4-5 m2 of free space. 7. After all, the distance between the toilet and the bed is at most half a meter. 8. There is no place to even hang towels. 9. I regret not reading similar reviews. 10. It is definitely not worth the 100 Euros paid per day. I do not recommend it to

We didn’t like the system for getting into the apartment via data on your phone. There is no key access, only access through data on the phone. So if don’t have data, don’t book the apartment or get data on your phone like we did. The process for checking in is too complicated- not easy. There are 3 electronic codes in place and required phone/data to be able to unlock each door. They only send details for getting into the apartment the day of check in time near 3pm. The information on booking.com didn’t specify that there was a security deposit of 250 euro. This information should be upfront on the booking.com website. You have to enter details and scan passport information and other personal details. We were advised that we could leave the bags at 12 noon and to call closer to the time for instructions. When we called, we were advised that we could only leave the bags at 12.30. We were locked out of apartment one day. We called the contact centre a few times but no response as the operators were busy. We called and WhatsApp them and finally got a response after 1/2 hr. We were not happy as it was 9pm and we were tired after a full day sightseeing. We finally got into the apartment at 9.30pm. On the day we were locked out, they told us to download an app called Nuki, they didn’t give us this app previously and said they only asked us to download the app because we were locked out. This app makes it really easy to get into the apartment. I don’t know why they didn’t provide it to us on day 1 and only provided it when we had problems getting into the apartment. They only provide 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 3 day stay. We were told to buy our own toilet paper as they don’t provide toilet paper. The 1st time we have had to do this. Cutlery were dirty / not wash properly
