Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Staff was standard for a hotel of this rating; however, the security personnel was described as very rude.
No specific mentions, standard quality for this hotel tier.
Considering the price, it was acceptable; however, several aspects could be improved.
Mixed reviews; some positives and significant negatives.
The cutlery was quite dirty and needed washing before use.
Promised amenities such as the pool were not available.
“Superb”
“Basically would be not so bad, in this current condition it is definitelly not 9.1 rating and not for this price.”
Nice ocean view from the balcony and excellent water pressure in the shower😁
Do not be fooled by the current 9.1 rating of this accommodation!!!!! Read this before booking. The Hard Rock Hotel across the street blasts loud music every single day until 11:00 PM. It’s 100% audible, and while it didn’t bother us much, it could be highly disruptive for families with young children. The bedroom has no blackout curtains or shutters of any kind. The mattress is soft and uncomfortable. The kitchen is practically unusable: utensils were dirty, the trash can is tiny, the oven doesn’t work, and the frying pan’s non-stick coating is scratched and peeling—I wouldn’t even cook for my dog with it! The coffee maker didn’t work (I reported this, and the host promised to bring a replacement, but they failed to resolve it over the course of 8 days). The kitchen hood lacks a backflow preventer, so whenever neighbors cooked, the smell would seep into our apartment. We dealt with an unpleasant burnt smell almost daily, forcing us to turn on our own extractor fan to minimize the issue. The towels were ancient (we ended up buying new ones at Decathlon to use instead), and the washing machine was moldy. The pool was freezing cold during our January stay—understandably, it’s likely not heated and relies on summer sun to warm up. I mention this only to manage expectations for future guests who might assume the pool will be 25°C year-round. As for parking, I missed the detail on Booking.com about needing to reserve a private parking space in advance. Upon arrival, the host informed me that parking spaces must be requested months before the trip. Honestly, if the host knows how difficult it is to find parking in this area (where it can take 30 minutes of circling to find a spot), they should be proactive enough to inform guests upon confirming the booking. A simple message like, “Parking here is challenging—do you need to reserve a private spot?” would have been reasonable. This is an island where nearly every second visitor rents a car.
“Awful, nothing like promised”
The location was perfect
I would not recommend this accommodation, especially for families with young children. Located on the 12th floor, the balcony railing is dangerously low—our 2-year-old could easily climb over it. Upon entering the apartment, we were greeted by a musty, unpleasant odor as if it hadn’t been aired out in a long time. The furniture is old, the mattress completely worn out, and the sofa has a large hole in the middle. The washing machine was covered in mold, and the shower holder was broken. The kitchen is tiny and poorly equipped, with nothing beyond a few plates and glasses. The frying pan’s non-stick coating had long worn off, causing everything to burn. The induction hob is controlled through the oven, which our kids could easily turn on or off. The fridge didn’t cool properly, and we couldn’t even make ice. The elevators are incredibly slow, and parking is prohibited near the building. Although the owner told us we could park for 40 minutes daily to load and unload our things, the security guard, who only spoke Spanish, yelled at us and refused to let us in. We were only able to resolve the situation thanks to a waiter from the nearby Indian restaurant who translated for us. All this happened while I was holding our sleeping 2-year-old and my husband was with our 3.5-year-old. The guard threatened to call the police for reasons we didn’t understand, and when I contacted the owner for help, his only response was, “Don’t worry, he probably won’t call.” This was the worst decision we’ve ever made for accommodation, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s impossible to rest here due to the constant loud music and concerts from the nearby Hard Rock Hotel, which also floods the room with flashing lights at night. There are no blackout curtains or shutters in the bedroom. The closest parking is 300-400 meters away.
“Exceptional”
“Amazing holiday we had we will definitely be staying again. The owner was so helpful and easy to contact if needed. Spot”
Everything it’s very homely
Only thing I’d say is we rent a car everytime we come to Tenerife and we could never get a parking space when we came back at night
