“At the ages of 47 and having travelled extensively, the worst hotel experience I have ever had.”

There was nothing that I like about the hotel and nothing about the property, facilities or service supported it being a 4 star hotel as advertised.

To be improved

Even after asking for my room to be changed (the first not being clean and overlooking construction work), the room was small, dated, uncomfortable bed and the walls were so thin (poor quality) you could hear every sound from the rooms and hall. I had breakfast included in my rate, I tried it the first morning but the quality of the food, coffee, juices were so bad (with no flavor) highly processed, I could not eat it and would not go back to eat on the 2nd or 3rd mornings The pool was closed in the evening so could not be used and there were no available loungers in the morning for the number of guests. The staff seemed oberwhelmed and there was the appearance of a general lack of experience.

“Pleasant surprise – excellent for families!”

We booked Don Pedro (2 adults + 7 y/o) but were moved to Don Pablo — a great surprise! Excellent for families: great location, multiple heated pools, kids’ activities every day, tasty food and quality drinks (amazing mojito!). Renovation works were well managed in closed areas, no disturbance at all. Highly recommend!

Poor reception staff. We had booked the ground floor room, we were assigned a room on the 4th floor, which was half the normal size and had no balcony. When we returned to reception, we were told it was the only room available that night. We were moved to a better room the following day. No apology given.
