Solymar Sun & Beach Deluxe Apartments

Everything! The apartment was spotless, bright, well-equipped, and perfectly located. The check-in instructions were very clear, and we had no issues at all. Even the door lock, which some people seem to complain about, was not a problem at all — you just have to follow the instructions. Kerstin was responsive, kind, and professional. A flawless stay.

Prior to arrival at the apartment the host gave us easy and precise instructions as how to gain entry into the property. The apartment was located on the first floor, anyone with mobility issues there was also a lift available. On gaining entry the apartment was found to be immaculate it was in pristine condition. The apartment was very modern with large kingsize bed and large sofa bed, two large walk in showers, with plenty of bed linen and towels provided. Kitchen had washing machine, microwave, cooker with plenty of kitchen appliances. The apartment had air-conditioning in each room. There was a large balcony with a view of Hotel RUI and of the many restaurants. Torrecilla beach is less than 200 yards from the apartment, nice sandy beach with showers and toilets, also a few restaurants. There is two supermarkets, one beneath the apartment and one on opposite side of the street. Across the street there is the tourist train which takes you to the caves or even just a tour of the area. The Balcon de Europa is a 10-15min walk away, although outside the apartment there is plenty of excellent restaurants available, Indian, Italian, Steak house, burgers, plenty of places for breakfast. The hosts went above and beyond ensuring our two week stay went without any issues, prior to coming to the apartment they arranged a taxi for us from the airport and left some cleaning products at our request. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was good, they contacted us a few times to make sure there was no issues. When i contacted them there instantly replied and sorted any query that i had. This is a fantastic modern clean apartment with an excellent location, therefore we will be returning to this apartment. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, very refreshing.

The location is great, 2 minute-walk from the beach! The equipment is nice and the bed comfortable. There is a washing machine and a Nespresso machine. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and very clean except for 2 remarks in the section below. It's not a negative thing for me, but just something to know: there is no laundry detergent, no sponge for the dishes, and no shower gel/shampoo. (There is no mention of these in the description, so it's totally okay that we did not have these items.) The communication with the host was perfect.

Prior to my arrival I was sent a video of how to access the key for entry to the apartment. This put my mind at rest as a single traveller. I had a welcome whats app message on arrival and during the week I also had a further message advising me of places of interest to visit. The accommodation had everything I needed, facilities were excellent. On arrival in the evening, I had tea, coffee, water, milk and snacks left for me. Location is excellent with easy access to beach, town, shops, restaurants and promenade.

The location was perfect, near to the beach with a number of good restaurants, bars and shopping in close proximity. There was even a bus stop nearby if you wanted to explore more of the area.
