Smell and look of the entry/hallway

The building itself has not been maintained for a long time. As a result, the entrance is sketchy and it's difficult to find the apartment number. Unfortunately, we had to wait 45 minutes outside for the staff to arrive. It was not a pleasant experience given the surroundings. While the apartment has been recently renovated, some things are not working properly. For example, one of the showers doesn't close properly and the window/door in the kitchen also doesn't close properly, allowing street noise to come inside. The street noise can be disruptive in the three rooms facing the street, even with the blackouts. NOT recommended for light sleepers.

Not very comfortable, lacking in character. Not enough storage space - so clothes had to be left on the floor. Host seemed very keen to leave when we arrived - spent only a few minutes before hurring out of the door.
