The best

The location was superb. Really couldn't have been better especially during carnival. The accomodation was clean, accessible with a reliable lift and adequately resourced. Diego was a great and helpful host.

To be improved

Kitchen equipment and furnishings were adequate but basic.

We are happy that we did not pay 150 euros deposit to Diego (to be returned after an inspection before departure) when we arrived since we did not trust that he would pay us back (our departure was before 7am and he lives 2 hours away) or might use it to blackmail us. It turned out that our suspicion was correct. A couple days after our departure, Diego submitted a claim of 120 euros, absolutely with no basis, since according to Diego, we had inconvenient his neighbors. (Please see the explanation below). We should mention that we kept the apartment in great condition. Before leaving, we cleaned it thoroughly (even though the booking included a cleaning fee). We were always quiet and tried to not bother anyone or even the host. (When one of us was sick, even the apartment was VERY COLD, with only 2 ancient heaters, we still did not bother Diego since he lives far away in Seville.)

To be improved

On the morning of our departure around 6:30am, 1. A piece of orange peel about the size of two fingers slipped from our hand over the window, and landed at the bottom of the little space outside the window. It turned out that this was where someone who lives at the street level hangs their laundry, not the common dirt yard, as we had thought. 2. When we carried our bags to the gate to catch our train, a neighbor whom we met at the stairs complained that we made noises, we explained to him that we were sorry but we had no choice because we had to get ready to catch the train. Even though the issues were so minor, Diego wanted us to pay him 120 euros for offending his two neighbors.

The location was as good as it gets to explore the city. Nice and big flat reasonably priced and with great service, what’s not to like?

“An address to remember”

The best

Perfect location: in the old town, a stone’s throw from everything, yet quiet and peaceful. Diego is an excellent host, responsive and accomodating, who doesn’t hesitate to search for information to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
