Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Consistently praised crew and captain—helpful, welcoming, attentive service, free drinks on arrival, luggage assistance and prompt problem resolution at check-in.
Repeatedly highlighted as excellent: central, in the heart of Barcelona/Altstadt and in the harbour with great views and easy walking access to sights.
Basic but appreciated amenities: breakfast served (view praised), buffet available; maritime atmosphere and unique ship features add to the offering.
Multiple guests noted cleanliness issues: old ship smell in cabins, carpet needing attention and general humidity effects; some reviewers explicitly said cabins could be cleaner.
Mixed to negative: cabins are small (expected on a boat), some rooms smelled due to age, high humidity affected comfort and soundproofing was limited; a few mentions of a nicer Captain room and good bathroom.
Mixed perceptions: some called it excellent value for a memorable stay, while at least one guest felt the price was high for a boat anchored in port.
“Amazing unique experience , perfect for a couple of days . I would definitely recommend opting for a bigger cabin in fut”
The location of the boat was incredible. Right in the heart of the gothic quarter , and a nice walk to lovely beaches . The deck is the real gem , it was amazing staying on board and have such beautiful views around you
The air con wasn’t working during my stay , but hey things happen.
“The boat is amazing, the head person on the boat was rude, everyone else was nice”
Breakfast was ok, typical continental. But we felt sorry for the last couple, food was not replenished and they did not get much to eat. The boat is amazing!
Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, construction, traffic and no internet, we could not let anyone know we were running late. We accidentally turned a corner and saw the boat, we were so relieved and so excited to see it. But we heard all about it from the person in charge, The contact for a contracted sailing trip was the person who told us were we needed to be and what time, so we would have a place to sleep that night. No Wi-Fi on boat. Mattress is hard but if it was thicker you wouldn’t be able to get into bed. Something broke under our room and they did offer us an upgrade room because they were afraid it would be to noisy to sleep. Our last 2 days were supposed to be calm and relaxing before a long flight home. But instead we booked a room in the Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel and forfeited our money we had prepaid. I have worked for Marriott International for 35 years, I know hospitality! If any of my associates, myself included would have treated a guest like this, extensive training would be the bare minimum to be applied. The rest of the staff was great. I would take note, they give you a key to lock your door and we did because we had not yet left the boat for the day and when we went back down to our room someone was in there cleaning, which was nice but totally unexpected, I had left my purse, phones etc in the room because we had locked our door.
“Great unique sailboat stay and awesome staff.”

“Terrible”
The location was very central to a lot of areas within Barca, it was next to this amazing Time Out food market. The breakfast offered was simple and ok.
On the first night they forgot to give us a key to our room, which essentially locked us out with all of our luggage inside. I had specifically asked the staff if we needed a key before leaving the boat as well & they said it would be fine. This forced us to sleep on the deck of the boat when we arrived back from a night out, as there were no staff present at this time. The 2nd day & night the air conditioning had broken on the boat, making the rooms effectively wooden steam rooms. At the time of travelling it was 30 degrees in Barcelona. This again meant that we could not stay in our room & had to sleep on the deck of the boat- which does provide mattresses, but for the price I paid for the boat I would at the very least expect to sleep on a bed. Whilst the staff were apologetic and did offer us a sunset cruise experience, we already had our itinerary booked for evenings so it came as little to no effect offering. I have then tried to contact the property to try and remedy these issues that we have endured & received no reply or acknowledgement. Overall, whilst the staff were friendly & tried to be helpful, even after their initial cock up, ultimately our stay was nothing short of terrible, thankfully we had a hotel booked before & after this experience, as if the boat had been our only location of stay during our travels I would have rather slept on the street or beach to be honest.
