Bed needs tightening up or changing as its squeaky and rocks on trying to rollover. Pool cards some didn't work at all

“Spacious Apartment”

The best

Returning holiday makers to the area, we found the apartment is really spacious, clean, well equipped. Everything you could need is included. Terrace furniture, clothes dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, towels, fridge/freezer, bedding, full kitchen and cooking utensils. Comfortable double bed. Extra blankets and pillows in wardrobe. Sofa bed available on request. A 6 minute walk to the playa (downhill, so note uphill on the way home). Double doors from both living space and bedroom leading onto a lovely cool terrace (which gets some sunshine) and has simple access to a communal sunny terrace with benches. Easy access to car park. Pool access requires a pass (for the safety of children) and is a lovely quiet setting surrounded by greenery. Tbh the photos don't do the apartment justice! Pre-arrival comms with Tatiana was good and informative. Check in was simple, we met Yuriy who lives in Spirit with his family. He talked us through the car park, accessing the apartment and pool etc. He offered to help with any questions throughout the week. We left the keys on the table upon check out. Would certainly book again as the apartment is handy to everything we needed, and as a couple who have spent time in Mojacar over the years, you won't find anything at as fair a cost as this place :)

Nothing! I'm left a little confused about some of the previous negative reviews as this apartment is a gem, only 6 mins from the beach and hustle but in a quiet development. The cost will reflect the lack of sea or pool views - not sure how that isn't self explanatory! Everything else was ideal. If you like a walk to dinner while admiring lovely homes in the neighbourhood then this one is for you!

“Disappointing”

The best

The host and his family were helpful. The swimmingpool was nice although some sunbeds could be replaced. One of them collapsed when we tried to lie down :(

To be improved

Mojacar is very small and we were disappointed with the apartment. Yes, you have a balcony, but you can't sunbathe because your balcony is behind a big gallery and people walk by. So you always have shade on the balcony and no privacy. The view is a old building with dirty walls. The apartment was also terribly noisy. Also we, as father and daughter booked a bedroom and a sofabed so that we didn't have to sleep togheter. The weird thing was that there were no blankets and covers for that sofabed so we had to sleep togheter in 1 bed. For what is a sofabed then? :( At least the apartment seems clean, but we had an incredible shower curtain that apparently never got washed and smelled like sh*t! No complains about the keyholder. That was a nice guy and his wife and family also.

Nice and spacious, everything you could need for a stay. Nice gardens to the entrance. Pool and gardens well maintained.

To be improved

Was a little hilly so would be difficult if you had trouble walking. Our apartment was not a Seaview and how it was facing made it quite cold to sit out. Walking through an underground car park to reach the apartment was also not great as not very well lit. Only being issued one key.
