“Marvelous location, good price for quality”

The best

Fantastic location, in the heart of Barcelona, very close to La Sagrada Familia. Several supermarkets, pharmacies (one of them open 24 hours a day), restaurants and other facilities around. There are metro stations nearby (L2 and L5), which are easily accessible from anywhere. The apartment is on the 4th floor and is equipped with useful utensils such as a coffee machine, pans, cutlery and crockery, dishwasher, washing machine, corkscrew (important!), hairdryer, hand and shower gel. The overall design is clean, rustic, yet comfortable. From the kitchen window you can see the towers of La Sagrada Familia. Keys are personally handed over to you by a Stay U-nique agent upon your arrival. Check-in details are provided a few days in advance by Stay U-nique.

To be improved

Stay U-nique extra charges for late check-in and that was not clearly pointed out on their page on Booking, so be aware of this. They charge €20 for check-ins after 21:00 and €50 after 00:00. Another annoying thing is Stay U-nique did not respond my message on Booking before my card was charged. Noise isolation of the apartment was pretty bad and you can hear vehicles passing by and honking all the time. Beds were not so comfy as expected and also a bit noisy. Those are just my personal observations and would not make me never come back again.
