The place was really comfortable and clean! It felt really safe and nice. Great elevator. Great views. Great wifi. Convenient location - fabulous! Pretty space, updated, very nice. Fantastic view of Casa Batllo at night - wow! Very good air conditioner. Also we enjoyed the lovely bathroom and shower especially. The place was really beautiful. For the most part it felt really good to be there.

To be improved

We could hear conversations through the walls. Not sure that can be helped, but it was a problem at times. Also, and this is the biggest detractor: the cooling unit is in the outer room, where there is a lot of light coming through a hallway window that needs a blackout shade. So, if you need cool air to come into the bedroom, which we did, we had to leave the door open to the outer room and had to deal with a lot of light. I didn't sleep well because of this. Hopefully management will change this. Also, because property rentals in Barcelona are pricey, it felt a little too much to ask for extra money at check-in (because we arrived past 9pm). It took some of the hospitable feel out of the experience. It may seem small, but it's the little things ...

“Clean, excellent location - paper thin walls”

The best

The location is amazing, and cleanliness is on a high level. They have iron with a mini board which is helpful- specially if you backpack traveler. They also provide a hair dryer, but it is not that good, and helps only with a short men hair.

To be improved

The worst thing that could happen when you have paper thin walls is renovation next to your apartment. We didn’t catch any sleep after 7 a.m. cause neighbors had renovations and even when they talk you can hear them loud and clear.

Not enough towels for 5 nights stay. Not willing to provide extra without additional cost. Cannot hold luggage even for an hour longer.

“Superb”

The best

Excellent location for tourist and first time visitor to Barcelona. The place is busy but you can feel that you're safe, the building is well lit and the ambiance is good. The apartment is relatively small but bigger than a hotel room and more amenities (microwave, mini kitchen, separate bedroom) to feel like you're home.

To be improved

The photos and description publish at booking.com matches the actual unit except that booking.com advertised this apartment has a washing machine but there is none in actual. Barcelona is our last destination and we stayed for 5 days, so somehow it did not align to our plan. The bathroom is clean but relatively small and the shower door was poorly design causing the water to spill off the floor, so if you take long shower than usual, very likely you will flood the floor.
