Stay U-nique Apartments Sagrada Familia

The apartment was a disaster. For the first two days of the stay, there was no heating at all because the air conditioning devices were not working properly and outside was 10 Celsius temperature and for the duration of the whole stay the hot water was not available in the shower cabin literally in the middle of the shower you get cut of of the hot water In the pictures below, you can see the dirty air conditioning devices and the sapstitut heating devices for apartment of almost 60 meters square.

First of all, we experinced locked out twice in 6 days. My wife and son were locked in the bedroom for nearly 2 hours because the door of bedroom was broken and could not open from both inside and outside. As a result, we had to cancel our morning plan and lost money for the booked tickets. The owner refused to make any partial refund. Moreover, the entrance key of the apartment was controlled by electric key requiring mobile network access without a pysical lock and key. When the apartment experienced power outage, we could not open the door to enter the apartment for hours. The owner could not do anything but to inform the building management company. The apartment is on the 6th floor and it was exhausting to go up to the room when the elevator did not work. The facility was far below expexted comfort level. The step around the shower booth was filled with black spots mold - I suspect mold. Water flow of the shower was weak due to loose shower head. The waste water in the kitchen sink sometimed did not flow. The air conditioners did not work properly and the room could not become warm in late March (the thermostat showed 18 degrees). In addition, due to ongoing maintenance work of the building, dust and painting smell made me feel sick when opened most of windows.

I didn't like using phone app instead of a real key to open the door. Battery low, bad reception, etc. may keep you locked out. Double bed had a mattress protector that didn't let any air through, so I ended up with sweaty back or side each night. Noise and chemical smell on the first day - the building was renovated and smell came from the outside. But next day it was fine. FYI you cannot do laundry after 9 pm.
