The price. Definitely overpriced at the time we booked it

Hardly any space available to move, had to call multiple times to the lady for the key, the alarm just kept on going while sleeping the morning time and it just didn’t stop while the police arrived at the scene and it still kept going.

We arrived, took our things from the cab and, according to the instructions called on the intercom. Nothing happened. So I called the contact person and we had to wait 15 minutes outside under the hot sun before we finally got in. But this is nothing, compared to what we saw in the apartment. The apartment is old and probably never renovated. In this super-tiny spot their representative had been waiting watching TV, sitting on our (supposed to become) bed. The intercom was just hanging on one wire, and probably hasn't been working for at least 10 years. Next, she showed us around in this tiny space, where three people felt like a crowd: She pointed at a closet, already crammed with, among other things, bed linen and towels next to a mop and dustpan brush (!) "In this closet you can keep your things." But all this was nothing, compared to what came next. The bed had worn-down mattresses, through which you could feel each wooden bar of the supporting structure poking into the ribs on your side, especially in those places where a few bars were missing. In short: we hardly couldn't sleep at all. In the morning the head and body were aching so much that we couldn't enjoy being in Madrid. And still, we had paid for a second night here. We had to book another and relocate to get some rest. As a sad final touch, my wife tripped on the worn-down floor in the bathroom and wounded her knee. We requested a refund for this hugely overpriced stay (240 eur for 2 nights), but the owner didn't accept even a partial refund for the second night that we didn't even attempt to use. I wouldn't even wish for my enemies to stay at this place.
