Studios Nerja Center E

The studio is very noisy from outside traffic, workmen and pedestrians. This started from about 7am right up until gone 11pm. The owner had mentioned building noise in the information however this was not the worst noise. The main noise is the motorbikes and vehicles that speed up the street. The balcony is very small. You couldn't really sit on it despite there being a table and two small stools. You needed to open the patio doors while one person gets to their seat, then slide the doors across so the other person could squeeze in to sit opposite. Not great. One of the patio doors had a large crack at the bottom of the pane. The shower flooded the bathroom when used unless you were very careful to point the shower head away from the shower doorway and have a low water pressure. The shower is quite dated. The bed was very soft, which tended to pull us towards the centre. The sheets were too snug and a little ill fitting, which meant they tended to untuck themselves by the morning resulting in exposure of the mattress protector. The duvet cover had no fastening exposing the duvet. Two towels were provided, which were thin and a budget style. All in all, it was disappointing.

The studio was in need of a refurb, the bathroom was quite old and basic and the bed had a musty smell due to things stored under it. But the linen was clean. The wardrobe was tiny and if we'd wanted to cook anything it would have been difficult because the kitchen was very poorly equipped.

The bed /mattress was terrible. 4 nights of poor quality sleep, because of a mattress that sagged in the middle. Could not get comfortable at all.

Shower room could do with an update. Some additional crockery (only 2 cups)and a new coffee pot would be good.
