Stunning Apartment in Acuario 118

The apartment was spotless and had all the facilities you need for a pleasant stay. Unfortunately the bed seemed small for a double bed and quite uncomfortable.

Perfect location. Very quiet (although we may have been lucky in that none of the surrounding flats appeared occupied) but only minutes from the town and many shops. bars and restaurants. If you want British pubs they are also only minutes away in the other direction. Although the balcony overlooks a car park you don't notice as there are so many lovely trees. We enjoyed watching all the birds, especially the parakeets and liked that we got the sun in the morning so we could sit out with our coffee. The flat is very well furnished and decorated with plenty of storage. It is especially well equipped with items not usually supplied like shopping bags and trolley, bag clips, foil and cling film, tupperware, brollies etc. There was even an air fryer which meant I was able to do a roast dinner on Christmas Day. There were plenty of utensils and knives but I would have liked a measuring jug and mixing bowl. Palm Tree Properties were excellent. They responded to queries immediately and even provided a filter coffee machine when I asked if there was one as well as the pod machine. Sam provided his number beforehand for WhatsApp and was waiting for us when we arrived even though we only gave him 15 minutes notice. He also responded to a query immediately during the week. Their welcome pack was exceptional and even included a Christmas tree, crackers, chocolates and sprouts. One reviewer seems to have marked the property down for being uphill and a 15 minute walk from the beach but I would say that is their fault for booking before researching properly. I deliberately chose a location in Arroyo rather than down on the Costa as I wanted to be near where the locals live and away from the Irish bars and full English breakfasts but we still walked to the coast most days as it isn't far and we have much worse hills in Devon.

Modern, comfortable, well appointed appartment. A real home from home. Everything we needed, e.g. tolet rolls, cleaning products, beach towels, etc. was available plus a few welcoming items, e.g bottle of wine in the fridge. Sam met us on arrival and was very welcoming and informative. Would definately use this appartment in the future.
