“Excellent apartment”

The best

Very clean and well equipped, comfortable apartment. Basics such as tea, coffee, oil and spices were provided. The host is very easy to contact and responsive for any questions. Easy access to the Metro and it is on Line 5 which takes you straight into the centre of Madrid. Also very easy to get to and from the airport. We took the bus and Metro though you can just use the Metro.

To be improved

There are only a couple of very minor niggles. The apartment is quite echoey, there is no oven, and the knives need sharpening. Didn't impact us in any way though and the apartment still rates 10/10. Only thing to note is that you need slippers because the floor is cool. I suspect it could be cold in cooler months.

“Stunning Apartment Pueblo Nuevo”

The best

The place is well located, in close proximity to two subway lines as well as multiple supermarkets and some local restaurants. Although on ground floor and you walk in right from the street, we felt absolutely safe, everything is well secured and bolted. The same goes for the neighborhood that is very calm. We were a group of four people and had pretty much everything we needed at the apartment. The heating worked well too, this was important as it was quite cold during our stay in Madrid. The communication with the owner worked very well, he came to bring the keys personally and answered any messages very quickly. We needed to store our luggage on departure day due to a late flight and that was also arranged for.

To be improved

We only missed some small amenities such as rugs in the main living room and the bedrooms as the concrete floor was very cold. Also, no trashcans in the bathrooms and the bedrooms, but that seems to be a Spanish thing in general.
