Security shutters and air con not working properly

When we arrived, the pool was closed. We booked the holiday on the basis that the apartment had access to the pool. I contacted the vendor and got a generic reply which did not explain why our pool was closed specifically when others were open. I then contacted customer services who contacted the vendor who offered a 20% discount, which I did not accept as this did not cover anywhere near the extra cost we incurred having to pay for use of another pool. I then rang back to find out that someone had accepted the 20% offer. I was not impressed so I was told this would be rectified, again it wasn't so I gave up with trying to explain why I didn't want to accept 20%. I was told that the refund would be in my account after the 25th June. This date came and went. Again I chased to then be told that I needed to update details on my booking.com account which I hadn't been told before and were irrelevant to me receiving a refund. I passed these details and was told it would be in my account in 24 hrs. We are now a week later and still nothing. To top things off I rang up and after waiting 15 mins to speak to someone they hung up on me!

Pool was closed in March, even though cold water would have liked to dip in as a Finn 😎
