“A terrible place to stay”

The apartment was terrible but there were restaurants, an ATM, and small snack stores nearby.

To be improved

The apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator. It is in the attic so the ceiling is sloped. The ceiling in important areas was 5’ 6” (168 cm) or lower. It was necessary to crouch down to use the bathroom and kitchen sink, to shower, and get to the bed. The portion of the unit where you can stand up straight is very small (I’m 5’11”, 180 cm). The apartment is very basic (no decorations, no blanket, crusty towels) and far from major tourist attractions ($20 taxi ride). I’ve stayed in over 50 apartments during my travels, the apartment was by far the worst.

“Exceptional”

The best

Great location, central but not too busy, not too crowded area. A lot of nice coffee places and restaurants and also a supermarket. A lovely romantic attic apartment with a nice feel to it. We were very happy for 4 days there. There are stairs to climb to get to it, but we took it as an advantage, guilt-free splurge on Jamon & Sangria, as you burn calories till you get upstairs :) Nice accommodating hosts and very clean apartment. A/C also very helpful.

The best

mattress on the flor is air mattress, so every time you get on air goes out and you finish on the floor. the sofa is broken and can not be jused for sleeping

Location is very close to a subway station, lots of shops / resturants and bars all around the location.

To be improved

The address was not as mentioned 22 Calle del Divino Pastor but was found to be 26 Calle del Divino Pastor. The phone number that you get from booking is not the correct number but the gentalman that answerd the call was nice enough to direct us to the correct number. collecting the keys was at a local resturant. You need to climb 104 steps from street level to get up to the aprtment. it is quite challenging taking a shower standing up if your aver 180cm high (look at property pictuers). The QR code for Wifi did not work but the code is NXNGDNUKVGM9TD, and the TV is the smallest tv screen I ever saw (about 14") so never switched it on.
