They refused to repay the cost on cancellation and pretended they had not had a request from Booking.com to do that. Dishonest throughout multiple contacts. Most messages sent by AI (same pointless message 20 times). Did not respond to phone calls on “contact number”. Avoid this property, there are plenty of others in the area who will actually respond to contact. If you book here and there is a problem then it will cost you.

Our only complaint was the limited hot water. It is expected in these older buildings, but we had to space out our showers to ensure everyone had enough warm water.

If noise is an issue, you are located in a lively square that can be noisy at night. The floors are original hardwood and creak with stepping on it. There is no heat, but they did provide space heaters. It is over a 100 year old building, so although updated, noise is to be expected. Would have liked more shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

It was 0 degrees at night and the heating was inadequate for winter temperatures. The aircon only blew out cold air and the two cheap plug-in heaters weren't enough to warm the room. I see from reviews this was brought to the attention of the owners by other guests over a year ago and nothing has changed. The bedding in the bedrooms were light-weight summer duvets and so we slept in our jumpers. I asked about parking a few times but only got an auto-mated response about downloading an app and I never got a response to my question.
