Suites Viena Plaza de España

Excellent hotel in a great location just off Plaza De Espana. Really friendly welcome when we arrived and throughout our stay would highly recommend this hotel a real gem.

Excellent location for city attractions. Contemporary, clean spacious room. Friendly, helpful staff. Good quality and variety of breakfast, well stocked and no queues. Nothing to fault.

Location was perfect for walking to many attractions in Madrid. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant, breakfast had plenty of choices and was tastey.

We stayed here for eight nights. The staff was all helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean. The location was great. Breakfast had plenty of options. I would have liked yogurt, but not a big deal. The rooms were spacious and I really like the kitchenette feature. The only problem we had was with the temperature of the room. We kept turning it down, but if the fan was running the room was very warm. Once we turned the fan off, it was much better. Plus, we could open the window. So, easily remedied. The bed was pretty comfortable. We would stay here again and we would recommend it to others.

This was a great find - close to a metro (Plaza Espana) and walking distance of many superb restaurants as well as the Royal Palace, the Opera House, Mercado Malasana, Chocolateria San Gines, a park close by with a view of the city skyline and the busy Gran Via for shopping. Breakfast was lovely - buffet style consisting of fresh fruit, cereal & yoghurt, breads, cakes and pastries, egg, meat and cheese, tea, coffee and fresh fruit juice. The ladies at breakfast were always smiling and couldn't do enough. The rooms were quiet, large comfortable bed, a kettle and self catering kitchen (no food/refreshments, except water and a mini bar, so remember to take coffee and tea). One night we bought beers and wine to have in the room - it is so cheap to buy! One day, we decided to explore further afield and took a bus (16?) to El Escorial in the mountains. It's an hour and totally worth at 14 euros. You get entrance to what was King Felipe II royal palace and we spent at least 4hrs going round looking at the magnificent architecture, paintings, rooms and the Real Monasterio where it is reported that Felipe released a bull to run amok amongst the monks for a bit of fun! Back to the Suites, it was always a pleasure to relax in the room, recharge and go for a nice dinner, not too far away. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, situated in a fantastic location, very close to Plaza de España and Gran Via. The staff are all very kind and attentive to the smallest details. It was an excellent experience in Madrid. We will return!
