Summerland Charming Apartment

The host was not in the least bit helpful. She brought us up to the apartment and took our details and the €250 deposit then left. She didn't even show us around the apartment or attempt to explain anything to us. She showed us a message on the wall which told us the WiFi userid and password. The WiFi userid did not exist at any time when we tried to sign in. When we messaged her,she replied with a voice message saying it would be fixed. We were there for 3 weeks and the WiFi was never fixed. I made other enquiries and never got any answers. My deposit was supposed to be refunded in a week. It took eleven days. There was only one set of bed linen provided,so we had to wash and replace them in the one day.

Only given one hand and one bath towel for the stay. That could be improved on

The landlord took a deposit of 250 EUR from us and to this day there is no refund. He didn't answer the phone or write back. I've reported it to booking.com and I hope they solve the problem. Poor contact. There was a leak in the bathroom and it was impossible to take a shower upon arrival plus a terribly smelly sewer. Fortunately, the landlord organized a plumber the next day and the problem disappeared (but we had to be in the apartment until 14.00). An additional fee is expected for late arrival or leaving rubbish in the apartment. It didn't concern us. But for a change, we waited 1.5 hours to be allowed into the apartment and wasen't even appologised. The furniture was old and a little decayed, it would not be a bigger problem if it were not for stress that the landlord would try to reduce the deposit by these defects. As it turned out, the problem did not exist, because the landlord simply assumed that he would not return the deposit. There was no internet. The landlord did not answer sms or calls when we tried to contact him about it.
