“Apartment itself is lovely, staff are abusive”

Apartment itself is lovely, loud at night but we were ok with it. €300 deposit taken in 6 x €50. When Lana met us to check out so many issues. First took a long time inspecting everything, then said we stole a book. We didn’t go near the books. Then gave out to us for using the washing detergent in the apartment, same was only used on the last morning to wash the apartments sheets and towels so they would be ready for next client. If they were not for us then they shouldn’t have been within reach. We then used the spare sheets in the cupboard to dress the bed. One of the sheets had a green marker on it, we still put it on the bed as we wanted the apartment ready for next guests. Lana then accused us, two pensioners, of putting the marker on the sheet, which we didn’t. Then said she was keeping all the deposit, when I argued back she then pushed me against the wall. My husband then stepped in and she gave us back €260, the deposit was in 20 notes so clearly not the deposit we gave her. Then at the airport she sent 19 photos of the apartment saying it was dirty. When I replied to state these photos aren’t the apartment we stayed in, and I had taken my own photos(on the advice of a previous review), all 19 photos were deleted. We are back on the island next month and will be submitted a complaint, Hoja de Reclamaciones and will also go to the police regarding the assault from Lana on a pensioner. We were unable to make a formal complaint and report to the Gardai as we had a flight to catch. The owners of this apartment need to remove Lana from dealing with their apartment. A horrible end to a lovely month in the sun.

My wife, daughter, and I just spent a week in this apartment, and we absolutely loved it! The place is modern, spacious, clean and super comfortable. The two big terraces were our favorite spot. We enjoyed our morning coffee with stunning views of the sea, mountains, and city. The location is centric and quiet. Just a short walk to Las Vistas Beach and really close to restaurants, shops, and everything you need. The complex itself has a nice residential atmosphere. The pool is ample and has plenty of sunbeds. The apartment had everything we needed, I would like to highlight the speed of Wi-fi which allowed me to work swiftly. Our host was amazing. Jana was super friendly with full of great recommendations for things to do, hidden spots, and places to eat. Her tips made our vacation exceptional. We really enjoyed our vacation and I would like to say thank you to Jana for all she did for us.

“A great week enjoying Tenerife”

The apartment was very spacious and had two balconies. Being on the third floor you get a good view of the sea. The apartment is well furnished and has a well equipped kitchen. The apartment block has lifts so it is easy to move your luggage. There is a large pool and a pool bar. It was always pretty quiet around the pool, so you could easily find a space. Jana was very helpful and responded quickly to all messages. Jana also gave lots of tips on the local area and places to visit on the island. The nearest beach is less than a mile away and is an easy walk.

To be improved

This is not a fault of the apartment, but you can hear the entertainment from the Apartmentos HG Tenerife Sur. This would be the same for the whole street, but that is the only real noise in the neighbourhood. In general, the apartment is in a good location, far enough away from the busy areas.

This apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Not too far from the beach. I recommend trying the pool area for sunbathing and relaxing.
