“Excellent holiday home in Albaicin”

Gorgeous holiday home in Albaicin, suited us very well as a family with grown up kids. Approx. 15 minute walk to the centre of town (downhill there and uphill on way back). Loved that we were in a quiet location yet everything was easily accessible. Lovely cafe, grocery store, fruit market and bakery nearby. Can walk to the Alhambra in around 25 minutes. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a Nespresso machine! Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. The roof terrace was the icing on the cake, we loved it!

To be improved

Only small issue was that there wasn't a dressing table or mirror in any of the bedrooms, would have been useful in the bigger double bedroom. The toilet seat is damaged so could do with replacing. Also on the final day the shower wasn't draining well.

“Our 3 day stay was excellent in a lovely house, very central with everything we needed.”

The lovely rooftop terrace was a bonus and the location was great. The house was equipped with everything we needed.

To be improved

The car parking was a few minutes walk away which with suitcases over cobblestones was a little hard work but we did have large suitcases and we coped perfectly.

“Perfect place, unless you are a light sleeper”

The best

It is a fantastic place to visit Granada. Everything is within walking distance plus you get to feel the real atmosphere of the city. In addition, the roof terrace is fantastic if the weather permits.

To be improved

It would be 10/10 if not for one important aspect - the house is poorly noise-insulated. In the bedroom facing the street you can hear the slightest outside noise, and we are speaking of an important promenade for nightlife fans. The two other bedrooms are better in this respect, but if you are a bunch of light sleepers, tough decisions might have to be taken.
