“Lovely little apartment”
Lovely compact studio apartment centrally located in a cosmopolitan district. Walkable to the museums and lots of local bars and restaurants. Lavapies metro a short walk. Host very helpful with superb communication
“Exceptional”
“Great location, but uncomfortable stay and unsuitable for "tall" people”
The excellent location, perfect for visiting all the key landmarks in the city (Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, Prado Museum, Reina Sofia, and the train station). The apartment is situated in a beautiful, multicultural neighborhood with a charming little cafè right next to the entrance and some nice restaurants not so far.
The apartment is much smaller than it appears in the wide-angle photos. If you’re taller than 1.65-1.70 m (5’5"-5’7"), it’s unmanageable. I am 1.85 m (6’1") and I had to constantly bend my head in the bathroom, and showering was nearly impossible due to the even lower ceiling. The kitchenette was equally unusable due to its cramped space (though we didn’t end up using it). The bed, placed directly on the floor, was uncomfortable, soft, and too small for tall people. Cleanliness left much to be desired: there was dust everywhere, and the shower was in terrible condition, with the drain completely clogged by hair and other debris. Beyond the height issue, the handheld showerhead had no proper support to hold it upright. The toilet flush was faulty, requiring manual intervention inside the tank to stop the water flow after every use. The apartment was cold and damp, with only a split unit that barely worked. Over five days, we had to reuse the only towels provided (two large and one small for two people), which remained perpetually wet. While this apartment has the potential to be a great option for exploring Madrid, it turned out to be a nightmare for us. I wouldn’t recommend it.
“Exceptional”
“Clean, tidy and comfortable”
Lovely greeting by the manager of the property, comfortable bed.
Not an apartment designed for a taller person, lovely hot water in the shower but physically challenging for a taller person
“Perfect!”
The apartment was central and with very good acess by foot to central Madrid and payed parking. Although the neighborhood doesn’t have very good reputation, we didn’t have any problem and we found it quiet. All was very clean and nice. The bathroom had showers gels, kitchen was equiped. The host was very friendly and welcoming
