Sunny Terrace Penthouse

I generally don't write many reviews so I want to give an honest fair review as it may help someone in the future. The location was not the best as it's a 15 min walk to the main street - Calle Real. It's 1.1 kM on google maps. Quiet hilly also.. so face that in 30 deg heat..! So we had to walk this each way every time we went to the old town. While the old town starts at about 750 meters the actual true distance is 1.1kM for any nice restaurant etc. Some evenings if we were tired after a long day we just ate in as we couldn't face the walk. The most interesting part of this review is on the actual apartment itself.. It's advertised as a "sunny terrace penthouse"... Yes it is a "sunny terrace".. loads of sun.. It's not a penthouse though.. We booked it from the photos and it looked fab - which it is however the terrace is on the roof with access from a spiral stairs - 16 steps.. We popped up a few evenings but it's not easily accessed so to be honest we didn't use after first few days. There's a table and chairs up there but trying to bring up cutlery, wine glasses etc is a nightmare - so we only did once.. I know it shows the spiral stairs in the photos but we just focused on the main pic and missed the access point. So the only outdoor access from the apartment was a tiny terrace where the spiral stairs was located - mind your head from the stairs! Turn key were easily contacted throughout our stay.. Check in was seamless. At the end of our 2 week stay we had a late flight and turnkey kindly held our luggage for the afternoon which was great - thanks a mill. I've tried to be accurate and honest - hope this helps. Regards Declan
