Location! And our host was very helpful.

Parking was tricky…we managed to find free street parking after much circling the nearby streets, but we preferred to do that rather than parking at the free parking by the waterfront 15 minutes away

The best

Super clean and well maintained apartment. A lot of space and storage which made living easy and comfortable. Fantastic location, right in the center of everything plus Loro Parque train stop 3 mins walk away, we went twice and it was great. Two separate bedrooms which meant kids could have their own. Very suitable for families. Fantastic host who seemed genuinely interested in our comfort.

To be improved

It was very minimalist, which was a good thing also because I hate clutter, but I would add some little things like a jug etc for water. There is no view from the windows because apartment is located in the center of a complex, for us this was no problem because we spend our time outside, but if you’re someone looking for a view then this it not the best choice.

Was not clean. Not enough hot water, we had to wait 30 minutes between showers, and the shower was up to 5 minutes of hot water. Missing basic cleaning materials, we had to buy them ourselves.
