The safe didn't work, the door to the freezer compartment was broken, the television wouldn't turn on, the overhead light was the only light in the room, there were no bedside lights, the bathroom door was sliding and very unstable, the shower door was very poor, the bed clothes were very poor quality and not even ironed, the curtains were very flimsy and the net curtain has holes in it, the towels were old and a very dull blue/grey color. Neither the bed clothes or the towels were changed during the eight days of my stay.The Juliet Style Balcony advertised was not in my studio. When I rang up to ask for another studio I was told there weren't any available and that there was a balcony on the third floor I could use. I recently had an accident and found it hard enough to climb the 35 steps up to my studio. However, I said I'd take a look at the balcony, it was a square concrete area with four plastic chairs. I could not wait to get out of the place during the day and only came back for a quick shower and out again. I use bookings.com to book most of my holidays and have always been very happy, however on this occasion I was left extremely disappointed and would not recommend this Studio to anyone

Personally for us the stairs were an issue for my husband who has mobility issues. However people with perfect mobility should not have a problem. The terrace is not attached to the room and can only be accessed by a further flight of stairs outside of the room and in the communal area. However, the use of the terrace is exclusive to room 2b and is key operated.
