“Great modern apartment”

The best

The apartment was very clean, modern, well provisioned and comfortable. The 3 bedrooms worked well for our family - in particular the master had 4 fitted wardrobes so no shortage of space. The bathrooms were lovely, a good size and had nice hot powerful showers. Separate utility with washing machine and tumble dryer which was great. The balcony was large, with dining table for 6 and comfortable seating. The apartment is on floor 1 (1 above ground) so views are good but slightly blocked for uninterrupted sea views by buildings in front. We were there for a week over the New Year, so the apartment heating was used more than air con, but it was very effective. The pool area was sectioned off with only the heated pool accessible, but it was wonderfully warm - must have been at least 31 or 32 degrees) which was great at this time of year. There weren't loads of loungers at the pool, but we always managed to get some for the family. The pool area also had a well stocked bar which opened when it was a sunnier day but tended to stay closed if it was cooler / dull. Location was fine - its obviously quieter on the Poniente side, but there's still a good number of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within a short walk. 20 minutes walk to the old town.

To be improved

The only 2 things I would mention are 1) the apartment is right next to the Sun Sailors block which is currently being built, so it is noisy from early morning - make sure you get the apartment at a decent price with this in mind. It turned out not to be too much of an issue for us due to the time of our visit - they weren't working Sat/ Sun and New Year's Day, Jan 2nd so we got lucky there. Also, It would have been good if a couple of sun loungers were on the balcony, as some days there breeze was too cold at the pool but the balcony provided some cover from the wind and was our preferred place to hang out.

The space was lovely!

To be improved

Well, it’s literally next door to a building site which wakes you up every morning and doesn’t stop till 6pm, the pool is NOT heated like it states and you can’t relax around a pool that’s being over looked on to a building site. It’s September, so we needed a duvet and we asked for those and they wasn’t supplied when we asked for it. Very very un happy with this, we had to go and buy duvets for the children.
