The best

Great location, between the tourist and non-tourist parts of El Escorial. El Escorial well worth visiting, lots to do, great walks, amazing food. Quiet location. Ideal for our group of 1 couple and three adults. Interesting old style decor, lots of character, relatively basic but eactly how we like it. Well equipped. Various outdoor spaces, most being sheltered from hot sun or rain - useful! Landlord was ecellent - very quick to respond to our queries and very helpful.

To be improved

Parking provided but the entrance is very narrow, too narrow to get our large 7 seater hire car through. However, plenty of street parking just outside so not a problem (but avoid the yellow painted lines and kirb stones - can't park there!).

The best

Clean, spacious, comfortable. Only a short walk from the Escorial, location coukd not be better. Plenty of gated parking. Would be great for families, plenty for the children to do. Clear and detailed intro. To the property; prompt replies to any queries.

To be improved

As an older person I would have found a grab rail in the over bath shower helpful. There IS an anti-slip mat.
