“Great apartment/ amazing host”

The best

Even though it's an automatic check in (vikey lock) the host is very kind and responsive. He left some snacks for us, milk and juice and cookies. The kitchen is well stocked with tea, coffee pods, olive oil, very helpful even though there is a supermarket nearby. He knew we were travelling with kids and left some toys, a baby towel and blanket as well as a baby cot. We truly appreciated the gesture.

To be improved

The parking is a plus but it should be mentioned that its not in the same building and it is uphill. Also if you have a big car you will struggle in the car park. Its possible but tight!

“Living the life in Bilbao”

The best

Location, had parking available ( up the hill ) , lots of space , a kettle ! ( the English do like their tea !) ...and a toaster....lots of basics left ..tea, coffee, snacks etc. Clear instructions and communication s from the start.

To be improved

Some updates needed ( owners do have planned). Would have preferred a real key rather than a code to open the apartment door. Big cars may struggle in the car park .

“Superb”

The best

Great location, very close to the Old Town. The apartment itself is spacey, comfortable and equipped really great, having all the suppliers in the kitchen and even breakfast left for us by owners. Definitely recommwnd it.

To be improved

The only thing that come to our mind is a bit of mold in the barhroom, though I am aware it is a common issue in the southern european apartments due to lack of heating. It was quite cold too.

The best

In Sweet Home Bilbao we had an overall positive experience. The owner was very helpful and responsive, making the check-in process smooth and ensuring everything was in order throughout my stay. One of the best perks was the included parking spot, which is a huge plus in Bilbao, where parking can be a challenge. the location was absolutely perfect. Close to old town and pravtically everything we wanted to visit and needed was within walking distance. Neighborhood was also good. The apartment itself was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable amount of room. If you're looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay for families or group of four to six with parking, this apartment is a solid choice, despite a few quirks.

To be improved

It's clear that the property has some age, particularly noticeable in the kitchen and bathroom, which could use some updating. Another minor drawback is the placement of the bathroom between the bedrooms, as it makes it in older apartments easy to hear noises from neighbors at all hours, which can be a bit disruptive.

The only thing I didn’t like about this place was that the balcony overlooks a school. But this is only a very a minor problem.
