“An overnight stay would have been too long”
We arrived at the hotel just after midnight. I was asked to pay the full amount covering our 9 day stay before I had viewed the room. Room 106 is a very dark and gloomy room. The sun doesn't reach the windows or even the patio area. There were no drawers to put clothing into and only 6 hangers in the wardrobe. The one evening we ate in the hotel we were served by a short waiter who wore a flat cap and was very dour. There are also no children at this hotel. It would have been nice to hear the sound of children playing. We had breakfast each day at the hotel. Hardly anyone was in the dining room. A waiter asked my husband where he learned Spanish, he replied he worked in Colombia for 6 years and learned there. My husband had an issue with his hip and found the stairs quite difficult. The lift wasn't operating. My husband asked one of the management if it would be working and she said No, they weren't looking at fixing it. During our stay of 9 days, the sheets were not changed at all. On our departure at 7am in the morning we were told someone would be able to help with our suitcase as we had several flights of stairs to ascend. There was not a soul around. We left our key on the desk and felt very pleased to be leaving!
“Bright and relaxing”
Romantic getaway, our room was fantastic, the terrace was in direct sun overlooking the pool, at the time there were very high winds, however we were sheltered from the wind so we were able to enjoy the heat and tranquility. The receptionist was extremely friendly, relaxed and helpful. Our lunch was catered to our needs, beautiful fresh food. The service from the lady was so lovely. We cannot recommend enough!
“Keep away - shocking customer "service"”
Stayed here 13 years ago and although the ambience is a little "dark" - wrong orientation for the sun and not many of the rooms have West or South light we were reasonably happy. Returned in Jan 26 as a solo party (wife sadly ill & recovering) and the hotel was near empty - despite asking for a king room was offered a twin anf there seemed to be a reluctance to change this. In the end I was relocated to a king but it was on the basement level & very, very dark. What really stood out (negatively) was the attitude of the front of desk male managers - indifferent, superior (misplaced) and distinctly unhelpful. For example on 1 day it was tipping it down and they wouldnt even supply me an umbrella to borrow. The "spa" - essentially a sauna & shower was attempted to be charged at 75 euros!! Madness, albeit they cut it to "just" E37.50! All in all will not return, one goes to a hotel to feel "welcome" not an out of season nuisance. Avoid
“Authentic Charm and Ultimate Comfort”
Super cozy little hotel, a bit dated, but that’s what makes it so authentic. We had the room with a jacuzzi on the terrace — amazing! The room was spacious, with a large bathtub and a shower. We had the biggest bed ever and slept wonderfully! The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The location was peaceful. We can recommend this hotel to everyone. Perfect for anyone who wants to fully relax!
“Great place, needs more staff!”
We had a lovely weekend staying at this hotel. The place is beautiful and great for a weekend of relaxing in your couple. After seeing some of the bad reviews we were quite nervous but the stay was overall great! The only two comments we had was that the place is really understaffed, the friendly girl at check in was great, but she seemed very stressed as she was doing pretty much everything which left some of our questions unanswered. Another comment, at breakfast we were not seated nor spoken a word to by the waiter in the room, and we had no idea that you could order cooked breakfast, so that would have been nice to know! However, there was a young Spanish bar tender around the pool and he was fantastic, really polite, and he made our experience. Other than that, the whole experience was lovely and we would definitely return!
“Beautiful relaxing hotel”
Absolutely beautiful hotel rooms were beautiful staff were really lovely The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is breakfast was very nice but waited long time for orders and seem to run out of milk coffee ect But for sure this would not put us of staying again a beautiful relaxing place
