“Ok but disappointing, and a dangerous terrace.”

Apartment its self was clean and tidy, with everything that we needed.

To be improved

A sun terrace was advertised in the booking, however it only measured 3 feet x 18 inches. And half of that was taken up by the air conditioning unit. We did complain and were told that we had a beautiful terrace on the roof all to ourselves, turns out the seating and chairs were ready to buckle under our feet, completely rotten, and waiting for an accident to happen, but the worst thing was that the floor , table, and chairs were covered in a pile of bird debris to use a better word an inch thick. Anyone using it would become very sick in a short period.

“Stairway to heaven”
The best

Great location near the centre but lovely and quiet too. Lovely big TV well equipped kitchen. Spacious lounge. The top floor roof terrace was perfect. Lovely bathroom. Daily sunrise over the Mediterranean. Excellent daily exercise on the steps up and down. The most wonderful view onto Casa Suecia and its gardens below you, a beautiful villa tucked away in the narrow streets.

To be improved

It would have been good to have a 'user guide' as there was quite alot of stuff there that wasn't obvious how to use. I only realised on my return that the table height is adjustable ! It took me a while to work out how to use the celling fans and adjust the lighting and to change the language on the TV from Swedish so i could operate it properly. USB access to TV would be very useful. The location detail sent to you from the hosts still takes you to a spot on the seafront, nowhere near the actual property. I only knew how to get there by doing my own research before setting off.

“Fabulous apartment in the heart of Torremolinos, but surprisingly quiet at night”
The best

That we had someone to contact to help and they responded quickly The apartment is in an excellent location, once we found it !! Half way down the steps at the end of Calle San Miguel. Close enough to bars, restaurants, seafront/beach and train station, but surprisingly quiet at night - so we slept very well. It had a very well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and large comfortable bed. Plenty of towels too ! We liked the hill/steps - but they might not be for everyone - worth noting if you aren't particularly fit or have reduced mobility, especially as you have to carry your cases a reasonable distance ! We would certainly recommend it.

To be improved

No instructions to locate the property before we arrived. I would have liked written instructions or a little map maybe? - as the address we were given Google Maps took us to a completely different location/property ! We were happy to walk from the train station and due to the pedestrian area taxis would have to drop off on a road some distance away anyway. We didn't realise the terrace was on the floor above, but after a quick email exchange we found it easily. Although good views and facility it was a little awkward taking our breakfast upstairs and unlocking a door - a bit tricky carrying things - maybe a tray in the apartment would help? One final thing - bins - we were happy to take out our rubbish at the end of our stay, but to instructions on where to take it - we had a recce and did find bins on the seafront.
